Katie's hands are on Kate's hips when she says this; her tone is conversational, as if it's a perfectly normal thing to say before you go down on someone.

Kate cocks an eyebrow, eyes the engagement ring that Katie forgot to take off. "Are you pissed at me? Because, honestly, that's way too hypocritical. Even for L.A."

Katie lets out a sudden laugh, making Kate's hips buck. Her fingers press harder against Kate's skin. "I mean that we're both going to be brides now, and we should take this opportunity to bond. We could go looking at gowns together. Help each other in the dressing rooms. You know. Girly stuff."

"You... you are going to be my maid of honor."

"Naturally."

Then Katie's tongue is moving over her, and Kate's thinking that planning a wedding might be more enjoyable than she ever could have imagined.
