She can't remember the last time she woke up in a bed that wasn't her own. Or Roy's.

Well. That's because there is no last time.

There's just this time, only this now. Now, with someone else's sheets rubbing against her skin as she glances at an unfamiliar clock. Now, with Karen curled up on the other side of the bed. Now, with her clothes scattered over Karen's floor. Now, with the sun spilling through the window onto Karen's back. Now, with something entirely new in both her present and her future.

She's not as scared as she should be.
